We have pulled the best pieces from the proven Highscope Curriculum, the Heggerty Phonemic Literacy Curriculum, the Alberta Early Childhood Education Curriculum, and other sources, to bring a Reggio styled unique, fun, and enriching experience to the children we care for.

Free to Be Kidz is a vibrant early childhood learning center rooted in the Reggio Emilia philosophy, which values child-led exploration, creativity, and community. Since opening in early 2020, we’ve proudly served the Windsor Park community with high-quality, licensed childcare for children aged 2 to 5. Our nurturing environment is thoughtfully designed to inspire curiosity and a lifelong love of learning through hands-on activities and imaginative play. With bright classrooms, an inviting outdoor space, and a full gym, we offer children a well-rounded experience every day. At Free to Be Kidz, we believe every child is full of potential—and we’re here to help them thrive.
We provide high quality care for children by offering a safe, creative, developmentally challenging, and nurturing environment, which will stimulate the physical, emotional, social, creative, and intellectual growth of each child. We genuinely believe that children learn best through hands-on experiences and when they got the opportunity to make their own choices of activities and direct their play. We offer a simulating, flexible, and diverse environment that provides for the individual children’s social, emotional, intellectual, creative and physical needs.
