We are a Newton family seeking an after-school nanny to care for our two sweet boys (ages 1.5 and 6.5), along with providing household support. We need someone reliable, loving, caring, and energetic to keep up with active kids and a busy household. We need 30 hours per week, 12-6 pm, with occasional flexibility to stay until 7 pm. Typical schedule: -12 - 1 pm: household and kids' chores like laundry, dishes, and meal preparation before school pick-up. -1 - 3.30 pm: pick up toddler from school, put him down for nap. Tackle chores and cooking during nap. -3.30 - 5.30 pm: feed snacks, read books, and engage in active play with toddler. -5.30 - 6 or 7 pm: pick up older kid from school, then help parents with dinner time. Both kids' schools are a 5-minute walk from home. Driving is a bonus but not required. Must be able to commute to Newton. Must have 2+ years experience with toddlers.
