We are looking for a reliable, highly organized, and culinarily talented Household Assistant & Cook to help keep our home running smoothly a few days a week. Please note: We have a bi-weekly professional cleaner who handles all deep cleaning, so this role is strictly focused on daily upkeep, organization, grocery shopping, and excellent cooking. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the kitchen—independently deciding "what's for dinner tonight," planning menus, and cooking excellent, diverse, multi-cuisine meals from scratch. To ensure a great fit for both sides, this position will begin with a 2-week paid trial period. Key Responsibilities Menu Planning & Advanced Cooking: Take the lead on answering "what's for dinner?" independently. Plan and prepare excellent, flavorful dinners featuring multiple cuisines, handle meal prep, and manage kitchen cleanup. Occasional Food Shopping: Run errands to the grocery store or local markets to pick up fresh ingredients and household essentials. Laundry Management: Wash, fold, and systematically put away clothes and linens. Home Organization & Daily Tidying: Maintain an orderly home environment by tidying common areas, organizing closets/pantries, and managing daily clutter (no heavy or deep cleaning required).
