Oakcrest Preschool was established in 1993. We are a VIHA-licensed facility that can accommodate 15 children per day between the ages of 3-5 years. Our philosophy of learning through play is evident in the various activities offered which stimulate children s curiosity, inventiveness, and problem-solving and communication skills. Our dedicated Early Childhood Educators are fully certified and bring a wealth of caring and experience to their work. Parent participation is optional. Parents can be involved in their child s preschool education in a variety of ways including driving for field trips, serving on the executive, fundraising, attending meetings (three per year) and providing snacks on a rotating basis.
