Shannon Daycare is a play-based center. The play environment will enable your child to develop emotionally, socially, physically, cognitively and creatively by providing opportunities for your child to explore, manipulate and experiment with the various learning centers. Our playtime is planned to emphasize the process rather then the product. Play is the primary activity of young children through which they organize their experiences and develop their whole selves. There will be a balance of individual and social experiences. Social experiences will be provided for the child to gain confidence and complete function in cooperation with other children and adults. Our program has multicultural non-sexist content as we believe in gender equality and promote respect for different races and cultures of the children and their families.
