About Gibraltar Point Day Nursery

Gibraltar Point Day Nursery is licensed and operate under the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014 and are regulated by Toronto Public Health and Children s Services. We are a non-for-profit organization operating inside the Island Public Science School on the Toronto Island. Gibraltar Point Day Nursery is a preschool program offering care and education from 8:00 a.m - 4:15 p.m. We provide care for children 2.5-4yrs of age and operate with a capacity of 16 children (1-8 adult -child ration). Gibraltar Point Day Nursery does not offer before-and-after school care. Our children have the opportunity to experience a unique form of travel. We provide escort services to and from the Toronto Island and city by bus and boat. Children at our Centre have ample opportunities for discovery, children take part in daily excursions to the nearby duck ponds.
