About Sylvia Street Playschool

We offer children the freedom to explore their ideas in an environment full of opportunity. We embrace the mess so you don't have to! Most importantly though, children need a warm and caring place where they feel respected and wanted, one where they feel safe so they can be themselves. We believe every child needs time to wonder, to feel joy, and to know they belong. Everyone has a place and a voice in the group - we solve problems together and encourage children to stand up for themselves in positive ways. We seek to support and nourish every child's sense of self and the world around them. Sylvia Street Playschool is more than a just a place that children are cared for, it s a place that belongs to them, a place they have a proprietary relationship with because they ve had a hand it shaping it.
