3 Steps Ahead Kindergarten Readiness we believe that consistency and structure help prepare children for a smooth entry into kindergarten. Our responsibility as teachers is to provide a caring, safe and nurturing environment that enables children to learn and to stimulate all areas of their physical, social, creative, cognitive and emotional wellbeing. The children at this center prepare for kindergarten through discovery, decision making and expression of ideas and feelings. Our goal is to teach a modified kindergarten curriculum to four and five year old children. We will use phonics and introduce a reading program which will encourage parents to spend a certain amount of time each day reading with their child.
