I am seeking a reliable caregiver to help my parents. My father unfortunately was diagnosed w/ brain cancer a few years ago. He has completed treatment but has had ongoing short term memory issues as well as some balance issues. He's a very pleasant man, but is forgetful of short-term things. As such, he is dependent upon my mom. It has been a lot on her to take care of the home as well as him. We are seeking someone who could help with giving my father company - perhaps doing mental exercises to help his memory (ie, crosswords, word searches, puzzles, etc) and assisting him in his physical therapy regimen. At the same time, if able to do some light housework to assist my mom, that will be of tremendous benefit. We are flexible on the hours, and would be willing to discuss/work with your schedule. My parents are very kind, religious/spiritual people who are unfortunately struggling due to the significant changes which have come about in the recent past, forcing both of them to retire from their jobs and adjust to a new reality.
