About the Role We are looking for a compassionate, attentive in-home caregiver to support a family member recovering from surgery and another family member managing dementia. This is a hands-on role that requires someone who is reliable, observant, and genuinely caring. Both are generally able to bath, eat, and take care of themselves - but they need some help around the house at this time. Responsibilities Provide attentive personal care and companionship during post-surgery recovery Assist with dementia care, including meal service and maintaining a calm, structured routine Prepare and serve light meals and snacks Perform light kitchen cleaning and tidying Monitor the patient's well-being and recognize signs of distress or emergency, responding appropriately Communicate clearly with family members about the patient's condition and any concerns Requirements Reliable transportation to the home Can manage in Hindi and get around with English Prior experience in caregiving, home health, or a related field preferred Ability to recognize and respond to medical emergencies Warm, patient, and trustworthy demeanor Flexible availability to accommodate the family's schedule
