The USSU Childcare Centre offers 2 snacks and 1 hot meal a day for children 18 months and older. We do various daily activities with the children, which includes, craft, games, stories, free play, gym time and outdoor time. We offer gross motor, fine motor, manipulative activities, social interaction and family based programs. In the fall session, the preschool children may attend the swim program, which is paid by the parents. 75% of the spaces are for undergraduate, graduate and Aboriginal students and 25% is for staff and faculty. The Childcare Centre is government subsidized, which means you can apply to the government to have some of your childcare costs covered based on your families gross monthly income. The USSU Childcare Centre has two locations with 156 childcare spaces in total.
