About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated, experienced caregiver to assist our 80-year-old father. He is currently navigating two primary challenges: mid-stage dementia and recovery from a knee replacement (2 months ago). We need a "calm in the storm" professional who can manage physical therapy exercises while being patient with memory loss. Key Responsibilities: Mobility Support: Assistance with transfers (bed to chair/walker) and walking to prevent falls. He can do most of this himself, but just someone to make sure there are no falls Rehab Encouragement: Guiding him through basic PT exercises. Dementia Engagement: Providing companionship, redirection, and a structured daily routine. Daily Living: Help with bathing, dressing, and light meal prep. Medication Management: Timely reminders for standard medications.
