May 1992 a licensed family day care was created with 10 children in the basement of a home in Coquitlam when opportunity knocked from the City of Coquitlam. I was chosen out of many applicants to provide a child care facility in the Coquitlam Town Center Park Stadium. The Rec Room Kids Club was born in 1998 and expanded into Nestor Elementary school in 2000. When the City of Coquitlam determined that changes were necessary for the Town Center Park Stadium to provide more green space and athletic facilities to our growing community, change was literally at my door step. Although, we had spent 9 great years at the Town Center, it was time to find a new home. April 2007 Lincoln location was established.
