We are a family in Oakland looking for a reliable and experienced home cook to help with Indian meals and light housekeeping a few times per week. What we’re looking for: • Cooking healthy Indian food (South Indian experience is a plus) • Meal prep for lunch/dinner • Light kitchen cleanup after cooking • Light household help (tidying, dishes, occasional ironing) • Cleaning cat litter boxes as part of regular household upkeep About our home: • Family household with a newborn baby • Two indoor cats — must be comfortable around pets • Friendly, respectful environment — we’ve worked with home cooks before and value long-term working relationships Requirements: • Prior experience cooking in homes preferred • Clean, organized, and reliable • Comfortable with basic housekeeping tasks • Up-to-date vaccinations (COVID, flu, and Tdap preferred) Schedule & Pay: • Flexible — open to discussing days and timing • Please share your availability, experience, and expected pay rate
