Assist with community integration by accompanying the individual to activities like grocery shopping, library visits, and local outings, fostering safe and positive social interactions. The role also involves travel training, including teaching safe use of public transportation and reinforcing street safety skills to build independence over time. Support functional skill development, such as basic budgeting, money management, and everyday math used in real-life situations.
