The Lunenburg Daycare Centre has been in operation since February 12, 1973. We have been at our current location since 1991. We currently are the largest licensed capacity non- profit centre in Nova Scotia with a license for 106 children. As well, we operate Bye the Sea Nursery School, a part day preschool program for 21/2 years to 5 years.All children from ages 18 months to 5 years do the following activities on a daily basis Circle time, which is theme based and is planned around topics that are interesting to the children. There are daily crafts, plus free art materials, sensory play, science centres, musical activities, and free play. Each classroom goes outside in the morning and the afternoon.
