About L'Escale French Out-Of-School Daycare Kelowna

Homework time at L'Escale is not on a set schedule, but is available for children from arrival to closing. Certified BC teacher or other educator assists with french homework. With kindergarten children, we work on pencil holding and printing letters according to their proper size and shape. For grade 1, we evaluate reading skills and when needed, we set up a reading program to help children overcome their struggles or discouragements. For grades 2 and up, we help practice their weekly spelling lists and assist them with book reports or researches. After 10 months of school and mostly indoor daycare, both children and staff need a change of scenery. We also enjoy getting to know each other on a different level... more playful, more interactive. To achieve this, we schedule daily field trips throughout the Okanagan. We swim at every beach and visit every water park from Peachland to Oyama
