Location: Great Falls, VA (live-in) Schedule: 6 days/week (1 day off) Pay: private room & board plus compensation TBD (competitive for the right candidate) Start: ASAP About the role We are seeking a trustworthy, experienced live-in housekeeper/cook with elder support experience for a large, busy household. You will support a couple in their 80s and help keep the rest of the household (5 adults - 1 toddler) running smoothly. Main responsibilities • Cooking (South Asian cooking strongly preferred; healthy meals, meal prep, kitchen clean-up) • Laundry (washing, folding, organizing) • Light cleaning & household upkeep (tidying, wiping surfaces, basic bathrooms, changing linens) • Trash / recycling and keeping common areas neat and clean • Elder support (non-medical): companionship, reminders, helping with daily routines, safety awareness, basic assistance with daily living activities as needed • Errands / driving (nice to have): appointments, grocery runs (if you drive) •watering plants Ideal candidate • Experience in elder care (dementia experience preferred) • Experience managing housekeeping + cooking in a private home • Speaks English (Urdu/Hindi highly preferred) • Calm, patient, kind, discreet, and reliable • Non-smoker preferred • Driving is a plus (valid driver’s license + clean record) Important notes • No regular night duty (overnight help only if family is away, with advance notice) • We will request references and may request a background check
