We are seeking a reliable, kind, and detail-oriented part-time in-home helper to assist with light household support and meal preparation in a calm, welcoming home environment. Responsibilities will include light daily tasks such as laundry, dishes, unloading the dishwasher, vacuuming, changing bed linens, and maintaining general tidiness. The role will also involve simple food preparation, including washing and cutting fruits and vegetables and preparing easy, healthy meals. An important part of this position is providing gentle, non-medical support to an elderly family member during the workday while I am working from my home office. This includes keeping an eye on her well-being, offering water or tea, and helping with light breakfast items such as fruit. No heavy lifting or medical care is required—this role is primarily about being present, attentive, and supportive. The ideal candidate is patient, trustworthy, and comfortable in a home with two small, friendly Yorkie dogs. Prior experience with household support or caregiving is helpful but not required; a caring attitude and good communication skills are most important.
