The LCDS Preschool & Kindergarten Program is an independent, not for profit, play oriented, Parent Cooperative, early education program for children 3-5 years old. The school has been operating In the North side of Edmonton since 1972. LCDS Preschool & Kindergarten is located inside a church, and is non-denominational. The primary focus of the program is for each child to develop age appropriate social and behavior skills, developmental and communication skills in a fun, friendly and safe environment. We believe family and community play an important part in a child's early development. A love of learning is encouraged in every child through structured activities, free play, daily projects, monthly themes and circle time. Special events such as seasonal parties, family events, field trips and in-class presentations are also included to enhance the learning process.
