We are centrally located in the beautiful historic Highlands for easy access from the neighbouring communities. Highlands Nursery School originally started as a kindergarten in 1966. When kindergarten was introduced to the school system, Highlands was converted to a nursery school. Combined 3-and-4-year-old classes run half days (2.5 hours) Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from September until June. No volunteering in the class or on "cleaning days" is required. Neither is there any fundraising. The monthly cost is $175, and there is a one-time registration fee of $40. Government subsidies may be available for those who qualify.
