We are looking for a caring and reliable caregiver to help our 79-year-old mother recover after leg surgery. Experience required. Duties include: Help her get in and out of bed Help her walk safely with a walker Help with bathing, dressing, and using the bathroom Cook simple Indian home meals for the family (dal, sabji, roti, rice) Remind her to take medicines Light housekeeping eg laundry Keep her company and encourage short walks as advised by her doctor We are looking for someone who is kind, patient, dependable, and has experience caring for elderly people. Experience with post-surgery recovery is preferred. Punjabi or Hindi speaking is a plus.
