We are seeking a dependable, compassionate full-time caregiver for our grandmother, who lives with her 91-year-old husband. She is currently experiencing several health challenges, is physically weak, and is beginning dialysis. The caregiver must be able to provide reliable transportation to and from dialysis appointments three times per week. Other responsibilities include preparing simple Indian meals, light housekeeping, companionship, mobility support, and encouraging gentle physical activity as tolerated. Bathing/sponging assistance is currently required. Most of her immediate family lives in Canada, although some relatives live nearby in Maryland. We are looking for someone trustworthy, patient, attentive, and experienced in caring for older adults with complex health needs. A valid driver’s licence, reliable transportation, references, and availability for dialysis appointments are required. Experience supporting dialysis patients is preferred, but the caregiver will not be expected to provide medical treatment.
