We are hiring a dedicated “House Manager” in Chicago, IL, starting from 2026-04-11. The position offers $20/hour, but we can negotiate based on experience. We have a 15-month old son who has a full-time nanny, so the House Manager’s responsibility is to support after 5.00pm until his bed time at 7.00pm. Between the 3.00-5.00pm, we will need the House Manager to support with some basic household chores for my wife and I, including (and not limited to) dishes, laundry, cooking, etc. We also have 15lb dog, so they will need to be comfortable with him and perhaps take him on the occasional walk if needed (no requirement to look after the dog - just a preference). Preference will be given to caregivers fluent in English and Tamil/Telugu, but this is not essential. We do not have a preference for cuisine, but need someone who can cook non-vegetarian.
