The Subtle of Storytelling for Kids
Once upon a time, there lived a king who ruled a beautiful kingdom, we all have heard this sentence from our grandparents during our vacation visits or whenever it’s bedtime. Days back then, it came naturally for them, they had a great deal of tricks up their sleeves, amalgamating stories from jungle to urban was a piece of cake, but this generation parents work round the clock and leave their kids with smartphones and gadgets.
To resurrect the art of kid’s storytelling, we have four great ways to make it more intriguing, interesting, and engaging and to create everlasting memories.
Jar of stories:
Pick a jar and 5 to 10 pieces of paper, write down words of your choices like dog, mountain, and king, drop them in the jar and during bedtime pick one from the jar and try to narrate a story using those words. This way you can keep your kid guessing every night and emote their creativity.

Map the story:
Pick a chart and ask your kid to draw a location and name it, ex: Wonderland, ask them to locate the common things like hospital, fire station, mountain and whatever they believe the location should hold onto. Now it’s your time to create a story out of the location and bring interesting characters into them. This way of storytelling ensures a lot of memory activity to enrollee with.
Story stones:
Pick pebbles in the size of your palm, draw characters above them and name them to your wish. Now create a story revolving around them, this way you can create conversation among these characters and develop a story.

Control the Puppets:
One of the subtle piece of art, the puppet storytelling, the best form of creating a world full of characters and creating situations and scenarios. This is one form where your kid will totally immersed into a beautiful much better world.

We hope all these four ways will help you not just to keep your kid asleep but also to bring back the art of storytelling into the lives rather than a stupid machine narrating stories, build bonds and create memories with storytelling, art is purest form of love so it’s your time to establish the love for your kids.
