How To Help Toddlers Appreciate Nature? Creativity Or Ipad?

Do you know what’s killing your child’s creativity? You should take baby steps to help your toddlers to appreciate nature. Nowadays, I don’t find many Indian kids playing in the parks or feeling a bug on their palm. It’s so sad to find children getting obsessed with ipad. Do you find it sensible “praising your little one for getting busy with ipad”?

Let’s find the difference – Is it going to help him explore and appreciate nature?

Do: You be the pioneer to raise your childhood days to life. To my knowledge, we the 80’s generation was the last ones, who were lucky enough to get dirty in the mud.

So, take your toddler to a park in the neighborhood; no talking; keep observing the nature quietly.

Don’t: Never carry your laptop or ipad; also don’t let an ‘electronic space’ when your “toddler spends her quality

time in a park”.

Do:It may be just a leaf or a beautiful flower; maybe even a bug—However, simple it may be show it your daughter. Let her touch it, feel it and enjoy it…never stop her from getting dirty in the mud!

Note: Carry a note book, if she is a little older. She can draw the things she has seen!

Don’t:  Please don’t carry an ipad or some electronic boogey to kill her curiosity.

Let your toddlers be the fortunate ones to explore and appreciate nature. Make time for them!
