About P.L.A.Y. Community

At P.L.A.Y. we believe we need to give children plenty of opportunity to play in order to grow brains beautifully. You can read more about the science of learning through play here. When children play they grow socially, emotionally and cognitively. At P.L.A.Y. we see children as competent, capable citizens who deserve the opportunity to interact with the world around them with wonder, curiosity and imagination. We focus on developing fine and gross motor skills, as well as developing communication, creative and cultural awareness. The heart of our program is based on genuine and respectful relationships with the children, their families and our colleagues. As a not-for-profit daycare, families are the key to our program s success and our board of directors is made up entirely of parents.
