Active Start Childcare is a family owned business with local roots in the Calgary area. Founded in 1991 by Jane Anderson, Active Start's sister centre, Magic Mountain Daycare, has been voted as Airdrie's best daycare for four consecutive years and proudly serves the community with four centres. Active Start Childcare is committed to providing that same quality of care to Calgary families with accredited early education centres and balanced programming. Our mission is to ensure that children are actively engaged in a healthy balance of enriching activities in a safe, stimulating environment where each child feels respected and valued. Our children are provided with a nutritious and delicious menu and a balance of child-initiated and teacher-directed activities.
