The Armstrong Preschool has been in operation for 40 years. We are a nonprofit parent participation and board run preschool. We are a licensed facility and offer classes for 3 5 year old children. Our teachers are certified Early Childhood Educators (ECE) and Early Childhood Educator Assistants (ECEA). We offer a play-based and emergent curriculum and strive to meet the individual and group needs through observation, positive interactions and play-based activities that are based on the children s interests, needs and projected developmental milestones. We strive to support the children s social and emotional development first and foremost, as those skills are the foundation for their lifelong learning. We provide children with the opportunity to participate in a holistic, inclusive play-based program that fosters their individual social/emotional growth, fine/gross motor skills.
