We are hiring a live-out cook and driver to take ownership of the weekday food routine for a Menlo Park household. The kitchen is the heart of this role. You will plan and cook fresh meals, prepare school lunches ahead, make snacks and dinner, shop for groceries, and keep the kitchen organized. We especially need strong vegetarian Indian cooking, plus the ability to prepare meat and fish. Curiosity matters too: we want someone open to learning family recipes and adjusting to feedback. The other part of the day is driving three children to school and activities. We provide a family car during work. You need a valid driver's license, a safe driving record and a reliable way to get to Menlo Park each workday. This is a live-out, full-time weekday position. It is mainly a cook-and-driver role, not a nanny job. The schedule is five days a week, with some early starts. Occasional weekend help may be offered with advance notice. Pay is $30-$35 per hour based on experience. Benefits include paid holidays, paid time off and a health contribution. Extra hours are paid. English proficiency preferred.
