Looking for a kind, compassionate, and experienced male caregiver to assist our 70-year-old father, who suffered a stroke last year and is continuing to work toward greater mobility and independence. Need someone 4 hr/d, 3 days/wk to provide hands-on support with daily activities, including walking, dressing, bathing, and therapy exercises. The ideal caregiver will have experience caring for elderly individuals with physical disabilities or stroke recovery. We are looking for someone who is patient, reliable, attentive, and proactive, and who genuinely enjoys helping others. Someone who can provide encouragement during therapy exercises and actively support his recovery and independence would be especially valuable. Familiarity with Indian languages and culture is a plus, as it may help with communication and make him more comfortable.
