Make Menlo Park your home base while helping a busy family keep the week running smoothly. This live-in role is centered on two things: good family food and safe, dependable driving for three children. You will have a private room with a separate entrance. Living on-site does not mean being on call. Work hours and days off will be clear, and any extra hours will be paid. In the kitchen, we need someone who can prepare fresh, healthy meals across the day, including breakfast when needed, school lunches, snacks and dinner. Strong vegetarian Indian cooking is important, along with comfort cooking meat and fish. We value someone who will learn our family recipes, shop for groceries and leave the kitchen clean and organized. A family car is provided. A valid driver's license and safe driving record are required for school and activity runs. This is a cooking and driving position, not a nanny job. The regular schedule is five days a week. Some early starts and occasional weekend help may be requested with advance notice. Pay is $30-$35 per hour based on experience, plus private housing, paid holidays, paid time off and a health contribution. English proficiency preferred.
